Orders placed through the checkout this website hands off to, inside the 30-day window that runs from delivery.

It does not apply to a bottle bought through a different marketplace account or a different website. Those carry their own terms, and a policy published here cannot bind a seller this desk has no relationship with. The where-to-buy page covers what else changes.

It applies to opened bottles. A change of mind inside the window does not require the seal to be intact, which matters on a product whose whole purpose is to be tried.

And it is a purchase policy. Nothing in it is a statement about what the capsule does, and nothing on this website treats a refund term as evidence about a formula.

Step two is the one that saves money and step three is the one that saves time. A box arriving with no name inside it is the commonest reason a refund sits waiting, and it is entirely within the sender’s control.

Nothing in the five requires a reason to be given. A change of mind is a reason, and the window does not ask for more than that.

Two of the five stages belong to organisations outside this transaction, which is why a refund that feels slow is usually waiting on a bank rather than on a decision.

Counted end to end, a straightforward return lands somewhere between two and four weeks from the day it is opened. That is ordinary for an international return and it is slower than most buyers expect.

The one way to shorten it is to start early in the window rather than at the end of it. A return opened on day 28 is a return with no margin in it at all.

• No name, email or order number in the box. The parcel arrives and cannot be matched to an order. This is the single most common cause and the easiest to avoid.
• Untracked postage. Without a tracking number there is no proof the parcel arrived, and the conversation becomes one person’s word against another’s.
• Posting before the label is issued. The seller pays return shipping through its own label. Paying yourself first turns a simple refund into a claim.
• Opening the return after day 30. The window is a window. Nothing on this website can extend it and neither can the order desk.
• Waiting for the bank in silence. The last five to ten days belong to a card issuer. If it passes, the issuer is who to ask, not the seller.

Where the first route stalls entirely, the marketplace money-back guarantee is the second one. It exists independently of the seller and it is one of the practical advantages of a listing over a standalone checkout.

The fourth and fifth rows are the ones that surprise people, and both work in a buyer’s favour. A parcel that spends three weeks in the post has not spent three weeks of the window, because the window has not started.

The sixth row is the one worth remembering before picking up the telephone. The desk can tell you where a claim is and what it needs next; the money moves on the seller’s side.

• The order confirmation email. It carries the order number and the date the window is counted from.
• The return tracking number. Until the money is on the card, not until the parcel is scanned as delivered.
• A photograph of the note inside the box. Thirty seconds, and it settles any question about what was sent with the parcel.
• The lot number from the bottle, LIP-26/GO-7994. It ties the bottle to the run and to the order.
• The date and time of any call to the desk. Not because anything is expected to go wrong, but because a second call is shorter when the first one can be referenced.

None of that is defensive paperwork for its own sake. Each item shortens one specific conversation, and the whole set takes less time to assemble than one telephone call without it.

Three things this policy cannot do, stated here rather than discovered later.

It cannot extend the window. 30 days is the listing’s term and this desk does not set it. A request made on day 32 is a request to a seller’s goodwill rather than to a policy.

It cannot refund a customs charge. That money went to a destination authority and neither the seller nor this desk ever held it.

It cannot cover a bottle bought elsewhere. The terms described here belong to one listing, and a bottle from another account is governed by that account’s rules.

Everything else inside the window is straightforward: a change of mind, no reason required, the postage paid by the seller, and a marketplace guarantee behind it if any of that fails.
